WAVE FC SEMI-PRO

Our History. Our Results. Our Next Chapter.

Based in Norfolk, Virginia, Wave FC has established a competitive presence in Hampton Roads through participation in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) and American Premier Soccer League (APSL).

Our story is about more than entering a league. It is about building a club, competing against established Virginia teams, earning results on the field, and creating more opportunities for local players to compete at a high level.

From conference competition to important victories against regional opponents, Wave FC continues to build its identity around ambition, player development, and representing Hampton Roads.

OUR COMPETITIVE HISTORY

United Premier Soccer League (UPSL)

The UPSL is a central part of Wave FC's semi professional identity. Our involvement reflects the club's ambition to provide a competitive environment for collegiate athletes, aspiring professionals, experienced senior players, and top local talent.

Through UPSL competition, Wave FC has worked to strengthen its playing squad, test itself against regional opposition, and build a foundation for future seasons.

We aim to continue developing a program that can compete consistently, pursue meaningful results, and create opportunities for players seeking a higher level of soccer.

American Premier Soccer League (APSL)

Wave FC's APSL experience has also contributed to the club's development.

Achievement: Third Place, APSL DMV Conference

This finish remains an important milestone in our competitive history and demonstrates the progress the club has made against regional opposition.

Notable Regional Matchups

Wave FC has competed against established teams throughout Hampton Roads and Virginia, including Virginia Beach United (VBU) and Lionsbridge.

Our victory over Lionsbridge is one of the results we want to highlight as part of our club history. These matchups represent our commitment to competing locally, building regional rivalries, and proving ourselves against recognizable opposition.
