About Us
Wave FC is a soccer organization based in Norfolk, Virginia, dedicated to player development, competitive opportunities, and growing the game throughout Hampton Roads and the Commonwealth.
Our club operates youth soccer programs for players ages 4 to 18, a UPSL semi professional team, and the Wave Commonwealth League. Through these programs, we create opportunities for players of different ages and experience levels to develop their skills, compete, and continue their soccer journey.
Our youth teams compete in regional tournaments, while our senior program provides a competitive platform for local talent, collegiate athletes, and aspiring professionals. Through the Wave Commonwealth League, we are expanding access to organized competition with 11v11, 7v7, and full size futsal formats, supporting club neutral participation, high school team preparation, and pathways toward higher levels of play.
At Wave FC, we believe soccer should create opportunities both on and off the field. We are committed to player development, coach education, community involvement, and making the game more accessible to local families. Through our growing network of players, coaches, teams, and community partners, we aim to build a lasting soccer culture throughout Hampton Roads and beyond.
WAVE FC YOUTH
Wave FC Youth is built around player development, competitive opportunities, and a club neutral approach to soccer. Serving players ages 4 to 18, our programs are designed to help athletes grow technically, tactically, physically, and mentally while developing a lifelong appreciation for the game.
Our club neutral philosophy provides opportunities for players to participate in Wave FC programs without requiring them to leave their current clubs or give up their existing soccer affiliations. We aim to complement the local soccer landscape by offering additional training, competitive experiences, tournaments, and development opportunities that fit alongside players’ existing commitments.
Through our youth teams, training programs, and participation in regional tournaments, players can challenge themselves, gain valuable match experience, build confidence, and learn what it takes to compete at the next level. We emphasize quality coaching, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive environment where players are encouraged to improve and reach their individual potential.
Wave FC is committed to making soccer more accessible to families throughout Hampton Roads while helping develop the next generation of players. Whether an athlete is learning the fundamentals or preparing for higher levels of competition, our goal is to provide meaningful opportunities to grow through the game.
